Return & Refund Policy
We want you to have a satisfying experience every time you shop with Kathasarathi. While we ensure that all books are packed and shipped with care, we understand that sometimes things may not go as expected. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns only under the following conditions:
- You received a damaged or defective book.
- You received an incorrect book (wrong title or edition).
- Missing pages or printing issues that affect readability.
We do NOT accept returns for reasons such as:
- Change of mind after delivery.
- Minor wear due to shipping unless the product is unusable.
- Delays in delivery due to courier issues.
2. Return Request Process
- To initiate a return, please contact us at snehasarathee8@gmail.com within 5-7 working days of receiving your order.
- Provide your order number, clear photos of the issue (if applicable), and a description of the problem.
- Once approved, we will guide you through the return process.
3. Condition of Returned Items
- Returned books must be unused and in original condition (except in cases of damage or defect).
- Returned books should be accompanied by the original packaging wherever possible.
4. Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the refund approval.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method. The time taken for the refund to reflect depends on your bank or payment provider.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (damaged/incorrect product).
5. Replacement Option
Where possible, we may offer a replacement copy of the same book instead of a refund, based on stock availability and your preference.
6. Cancellations
- Orders can be canceled before they are shipped by contacting our customer support.
- Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible. In such cases, please follow the return process after delivery.
